Unarmed Security Officer – Overnight (10 PM–10 AM)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour overnight shifts | 10:00 PM–10:00 AM

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide overnight security coverage at a residential community in Phoenix, AZ.

This position is a great opportunity for security professionals who enjoy working in a residential environment and interacting with residents and visitors while helping maintain a safe and secure property.

Previous security experience and a valid Arizona Unarmed Security Guard Registration Card are required. Residential community or HOA security experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

• $20.00 per hour
• 12-hour overnight shifts: 10:00 PM–10:00 AM
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Coverage is needed across all days of the week, including weekends
• Must be available to work the required overnight schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property
• Conduct patrols of the community using a golf cart
• Monitor property access and observe for suspicious or unusual activity
• Assist residents and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and security concerns as appropriate
• Document and report incidents, observations, and other relevant activities
• Follow site-specific procedures and post orders
• Help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and employees

Requirements

• Previous security experience required
• Current, valid Arizona DPS Unarmed Security Guard Registration Card required
• Residential security or HOA experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Clean driving record and successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review required
• Ability to safely operate a golf cart as part of regular patrol duties
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, professional, and attentive to detail
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts, including weekends
