Security Guards – Multiple Locations (Queens & Long Island)

OneService Security Services is seeking friendly, professional, and dependable Security Guards for assignments at multiple locations throughout Queens and Long Island. These positions are ideal for individuals who enjoy providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.

Available Locations & Schedules

Position 1 – Jamaica, NY (Full-Time)

• Schedule: Full-Time
• Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• Pay: $17.00 per hour, increasing to $18.87 effective January 1, 2027, in accordance with Local Law 61.
• Duties: Front desk security and customer service in a healthcare environment.

Position 2 – Long Beach, NY (Part-Time)

• Schedule: Friday – Sunday
• Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Duties: Front desk security, visitor access control, and customer service.

Position 3 – Rosedale, Queens, NY (2 Openings)

Opening 1 – Morning Shift

• Schedule: Wednesday – Friday
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Hours: 24 hours per week

Opening 2 – Afternoon & Overnight Shifts

• Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (overnight into Wednesday)
• Hours: 32 hours per week

Rosedale Pay: $17.00 per hour for both Rosedale openings.

Rosedale Duties: Driving security patrols, monitoring property activity, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Rosedale Position Requirement: A valid driver's license and acceptable driving history are required for the Rosedale positions.

General Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas and maintain a professional security presence.
• Greet and assist patients, visitors, residents, and staff as applicable.
• Monitor front desk activity and control visitor access at designated locations.
• Conduct vehicle patrols at the Rosedale location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard Registration Card.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout assigned shifts.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history for Rosedale assignments.
• Previous security, healthcare, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
