Front Desk Security Guards – Commack & Holtsville, NY (3 Openings)

OneService Security Services is hiring three dependable, professional Security Guards for front desk assignments at two locations in Suffolk County. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking customer-service-oriented security work with limited patrol responsibilities.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Available Locations & Schedules

Position 1 – Commack, NY (2 Openings)

• Shift: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Opening 1: 3 nights per week (30 hours)
• Opening 2: 4 nights per week (40 hours)
• Location: Independent senior living community (not assisted living or a nursing facility).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at the front desk.
• Monitor building activity and assist residents and visitors.
• Conduct three scheduled patrols per night, completing designated electronic scan checkpoints.
• Report unusual activity, safety concerns, and incidents.

Position 2 – Holtsville, NY (1 Opening)

• Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM (16-hour shifts).
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (9-hour shift).
• Total: 41 scheduled hours per week, including 1 hour of overtime.
• Location: Front desk security assignment with no patrol scans required.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor front desk activity and maintain a professional security presence.
• Greet and assist visitors and staff.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Remain attentive and responsive throughout the shift.

General Requirements

• Valid NYS Security Guard Registration Card.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive throughout assigned shifts.
• Previous security or front desk experience preferred.
