Position Overview

CSP is seeking experienced, professional, and dependable Field Supervisors to oversee security operations across multiple client locations throughout all five boroughs of New York City. This role is the critical link between our officers in the field and our operations leadership. The ideal candidate maintains a strong field presence and ensures site compliance, officer accountability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence at every location they visit.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Field Oversight & Officer Accountability

• Patrol assigned posts and client accounts, which may require the use of a company-provided vehicle
• Verify officer attendance and presence at the beginning of each shift using attendance tracking software
• Tour assigned sites to observe officer performance and compliance with client expectations
• Ensure security officers are properly uniformed and following post procedures
• Assist with on-the-job training for newly assigned security personnel

Site Compliance & Security

• Maintain working knowledge of all General and Specific Post Orders for assigned locations
• Understand and follow emergency procedures and any additional client instructions
• Inspect doors, gates, windows, and access points to confirm proper security measures are in place
• Address rule violations, including loitering, smoking, trespassing, and other prohibited activities
• Conduct random inspections and document patrol activity at watch stations
• Complete health and safety assessments, risk assessments, and site evaluations
• Ensure public and employee safety at all assigned locations

Response & Reporting

• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and urgent client service requests throughout assigned areas
• Communicate critical operational issues to the Operations Manager immediately when necessary
• Prepare Incident Reports and related documentation promptly, and ensure security officers do the same
• Complete and submit Daily Inspection Reports (DIRs) for management review

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and write in English for post orders, incident reports, and DIRs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and supervise multiple sites
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with attendance tracking and incident reporting software
• Knowledge of the five boroughs and client-site operations
