Prosegur Security is seeking an experienced and highly professional Security Operations Center (SOC) Officer for a premier corporate campus in Santa Clara, CA. This position is responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to alarms and incidents, coordinating security personnel, and maintaining effective communication during routine and emergency situations.
The ideal candidate will have strong situational awareness, communication, computer, and multitasking skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced security operations environment.
A valid California Guard Card is required.
• CCTV Monitoring: Monitor multiple CCTV camera systems to identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, unauthorized access, and potential security incidents.
• Alarm Monitoring: Monitor and respond appropriately to security, access control, and emergency alarms in accordance with established procedures.
• Dispatch & Communications: Receive incoming calls and radio communications and dispatch security officers to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
• Incident Response: Coordinate security responses to emergencies, suspicious activity, disturbances, and other security-related events.
• Emergency Escalation: Initiate established emergency notification and escalation procedures and contact site leadership or emergency services when required.
• Security Systems: Operate security technology, access control systems, CCTV platforms, radios, and other SOC equipment.
• Incident Reporting: Prepare accurate and detailed electronic incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required security documentation.
• Information Management: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, calls for service, alarm activity, and officer dispatches.
• Customer Service: Maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, security personnel, management, and client representatives.
• Valid California Guard Card – Required• Previous SOC, Security Operations Center, Control Room, Dispatch, or CCTV monitoring experience preferred• Strong computer and technology skills• Ability to monitor multiple systems and screens simultaneously• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies• Ability to multitask and prioritize incidents appropriately• Strong report-writing and documentation skills• Reliable attendance and punctuality
Pay Rate: $29.50/hour
