Part Time, Security Site Lead – CG HOA | KATY, TX 77450

$16.00/Hour | Thursday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM,

United Protective Services is seeking professional, dependable, and experienced Site Lead Security Officers for a gated residential community in Katy, Texas.

The Security Site Lead serves as the primary onsite security representative during the assigned shift and is responsible for ensuring that access-control procedures, reporting requirements, professional standards, and site-specific post orders are consistently followed.

This is a working leadership position. The Site Lead will perform normal gate and access-control duties while also providing guidance, oversight, and accountability for security operations at the property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors professionally.
  • Verify identification and resident authorization before granting access.
  • Enter required visitor and vehicle information into the Gate Sentry system.
  • Review resident notes and access restrictions before approving entry.
  • Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
  • Restrict unauthorized access to the community and amenities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily security operations and serve as the onsite point of contact.
  • Ensure officers comply with post orders, company policies, attendance, uniform, and performance standards.
  • Monitor post coverage, attentiveness, access-control procedures, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure incidents, maintenance issues, and property concerns are promptly reported.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and shift pass-downs to assigned officers.
  • Escalate serious incidents, policy violations, or client concerns to management.
  • Maintain professional communication with residents, property management, and UPS supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Texas security credentials required for the assignment.
  • Previous security experience required.
  • Previous lead officer, supervisor, residential security, concierge, gate attendant, or access-control experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to operate computers, tablets, smartphones, and electronic access-control systems.
  • Ability to accurately document incidents and security activity.
  • Ability to understand and consistently enforce written post orders.
  • Reliable transportation.
