Position Summary

Allstate Security is seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers for multiple assignments throughout the San Diego area.

We are looking for candidates with a variety of availability and experience levels. Opportunities include full-time, part-time, flex/on-call, morning, swing, overnight, and weekend schedules.

Specific assignments and schedules will be discussed during the hiring process based on experience, qualifications, availability, and current staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot and/or vehicle patrols depending on assignment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, access points, and assigned areas.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, trespassing, theft, or other security concerns.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, or access-control systems when assigned.
• Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, guests, vendors, and the public.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and shift documentation.
• Use mobile devices and security reporting applications as required.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, client requirements, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active California BSIS Guard Card required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to remain alert and work independently.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work mornings, swing shifts, overnights, weekends, and holidays depending on assignment.
• Comfortable using smartphones, radios, and security reporting applications.
• Previous security, patrol, retail, commercial, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Must be able to successfully complete required background screening.
• Valid Driver’s License required for vehicle patrol assignments.
• Must be at least 25 years old for vehicle patrol assignments.

Work Environment

Assignments are available throughout the San Diego area and may include commercial properties, public-facing locations, retail environments, and vehicle patrol routes.

Officers must maintain professionalism, situational awareness, strong customer service, and a safety-focused approach at all times.

Compensation

$21.95 per hour
