This is a STAFF support position comparable to task requirements commonly performed in the Army S1, S2, and S3 departments and other government agencies that specifically focus on compliance with Army Regulation 525-2, The Army Protection Program (APP).
Ensuring full compliance with AR 525-2 drives our customers' direct requirement for proficient and professional STAFF support, which results in, but is not limited to, the development and delivery of applicable compliance reports, advance planning documents, providing situational guidance to subordinate elements, and other operational work products that support the basic pillars of the APP domain.
The required STAFF support may include preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations for senior-level attendees, recurring participation in relevant virtual working groups, conducting virtual weekly staff meetings, using the Access Control System for CAC access to the work site, developing and delivering associated Memorandums, Meeting Minutes and After-Action Reports, Excel Spreadsheets, Decision Papers with multiple courses of action, developing relevant tracking forms, and researching information associated with designated subject matter.
Additionally, STAFF support includes initiating, developing, and maintaining appropriate working relationships at the organization's subordinate element level, monitoring their compliance with applicable APP guidance, and responding to requests for interpretation and assistance. When tasked, prepare and conduct functional area briefings to increase understanding and awareness of the APP benchmark compliance requirements. STAFF support may be required in any of the Army Protection Program functional areas specifically associated within the Protection domain, not the Security domain.
