Security Vehicle Patrol Officer - Swing/Graveyard Shifts

Stockton | Full and Part-Time | $17.00 - $18.50 per hour with reimbursements | Weekly Pay

Delta Protective Services is hiring Security Vehicle Patrol Officers for swing and graveyard shifts. This is an active patrol position for someone reliable, professional, alert, and ready to work weekends and holidays. You will drive a DPS patrol vehicle, conduct visible patrols, complete reports, and help protect people, property, and peace of mind.

Pay and Schedule

- $17.00 - $18.50 per hour with reimbursements

- Swing and graveyard shifts

- Approximately 32 hours per week

- Weekends and holidays required

- Extra shifts and overtime may be available

Job Objective

You are an experienced security officer with open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. You are polite, professional, and courteous. You use a smartphone, follow post orders and client instructions, remain highly visible, and help keep clients and the public safe.

Responsibilities

- Keep Guard Card and BSIS training current

- Follow company policies, post orders, and client instructions

- Drive a DPS patrol vehicle and conduct visible patrols

- Conduct walking patrols of assigned properties

- Help prevent trespassing, theft, vandalism, and property damage

- Report activities using smartphone apps

- Complete required vehicle safety inspections before operating a DPS vehicle, including checking fuel, tires, lights, seat belts, visible damage, and required fluid levels

- Report vehicle issues and safety concerns

- Perform basic roadside vehicle tasks when safe and required, including adding air to tires, checking fluids, and changing a flat tire

- Alert law enforcement when a crime or emergency occurs

- Work all assigned shifts and job locations

- Be polite, professional, and courteous

- Complete other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

- Valid California Guard Card required prior to employment

- Valid California driver's license

- Driving record acceptable to company and insurance requirements

- Reliable transportation

- Working smartphone with mobile data

- Ability to work swing shifts, graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to stand, walk, drive, and remain alert during the shift

- Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and change a flat tire when safe and required

- Good verbal and written communication in English
