- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Part-Time, 16 hours per week
- NO Weekends
- Two 8 hour days through the work week OR 4 hour work days - Days determined by need.
Position Summary
Per Mar Security Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Employment Coordinator and Operations Manager. This position is responsible for assisting with orientation management, maintaining uniform inventory records, organizing documents, and supporting various administrative functions to ensure efficient department operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Employment Coordinator and Operations Manager.
- Assist with the coordination and management of employee orientations.
- Prepare orientation materials and ensure required documentation is completed and organized.
- Maintain accurate uniform inventory records and assist with tracking, ordering, and distribution of uniforms and related equipment.
- Organize, scan, file, and maintain employee and department records.
- Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and administrative documents.
- Ensure records and files are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
- Support department operations through clerical and organizational tasks.
- Coordinate and track training, certification, and compliance documentation as directed.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Employment Coordinator and/or Operations Manager.
- Travel occasionally to company locations or events as needed to support administrative and operational functions.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred - but not required.
- Previous administrative, clerical, office support, or customer service experience highly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move boxes, uniforms, or office supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred for occasional/ As needed travel requirements.
