Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-focused Full-Time Security Officer to provide security services at a gated residential community in Gainesville, Virginia. The Security Officer will be responsible for access control, visitor management, patrols, incident reporting, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, guests, vendors, and staff.

The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, professional, and able to provide excellent service while enforcing community policies and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional access control at the gated community entrance.
• Screen and verify residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and daily activity reports.
• Conduct routine patrols of the community and report any safety or security concerns.
• Monitor property activity and identify unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, complaints, and requests for assistance.
• Enforce community rules, access procedures, and security guidelines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, supervisors, and property management.
• Prepare accurate incident reports when necessary.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive presence while on duty.

This position is based in a gated residential community in Gainesville, VA. The role requires regular interaction with residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and property management.
