Job Summary

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Part-Time Security Officer to join our team at a gated residential community in Gainesville, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, visitors, and property staff.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a residential community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access at the gated community entrance.
• Greet residents, guests, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Verify visitor authorization and maintain accurate entry logs.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property as required.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
• Enforce community rules and security procedures in a professional manner.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and property management.

Work Environment

This position is located at a gated residential community. Security Officers will interact regularly with residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel.
