Act 235 Certified Armed Security Officer

Location: Mt. Pocono | Stroudburg

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour  

Schedule: On Call/As Needed | Open Availability  

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Act 235 Certified Arrmed Security Officer to join our team in the Lehigh Valley area. This part-time role requires flexibility to cover multiple sites as needed. Ideal candidates will have prior armed security experience.

Available Shifts

• Tuesday to Saturday | 8:15am to 4:45 pm  

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, visible security presence at various assigned locations
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies
• Complete detailed and accurate reports
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining safety standards

Requirements

• Prior Armed security experience required
• Act 235 Armed Certification
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
• Professional appearance and demeanor
