The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks.

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a part-time security officer for assignment at Sterling Steel. This is a 2nd shift opening, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Thursday.

32 hours a week at $16.50 per hour.

A valid driver's license is required.

PERC card is preferred but not required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules via CCTV and security rounds. Access control of visiting individuals and commercial inbound traffic. Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations. Report any facility issues- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations- Some basic computer knowledge required.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to handle physical workload including climbing stairs.
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
