Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule: Thursday–Monday, Midnight–8:00 AM

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment while interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of security or related professional experience preferred
• Experience working with children
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Guard Card
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and conflict de-escalation abilities
• Ability to pass background screening and any required drug/alcohol testing

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle patrols as assigned
• Monitor and report security threats, safety hazards, and emergency situations
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
• Maintain a professional appearance and attendance record
• Participate in required training and orientation programs
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding security concerns
