Act 235 Armed Security Officer

Location: Johnstown, PA

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Full-Time Position | 40 Hours Per Week

Schedule:

• Wednesday – Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday & Monday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Tuesday: Off

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property
• Monitor access points and control authorized entry and exit
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations
• Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and daily activity logs
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight shifts

Requirements

• Current Act 235 Certification or willingness to obtain certification through company-sponsored opportunities for qualified candidates
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
