Built on excellence, integrity, and professionalism, we are actively seeking a qualified Armed Security Officer for a law office client in the Bronx.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Armed Security Officer will serve as the primary line of defense in a high-stakes legal environment. Law offices present unique challenges — emotionally charged clients, sensitive proceedings, and confidential materials — demanding an officer who is licensed, seasoned, and professionally composed under pressure, while remaining ready to respond to any threat with decisive action.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Maintain a vigilant armed presence at designated posts within and around the law office

•        Control facility access, screening all visitors, clients, and vendors per post orders

•        Monitor surveillance systems and entry points for unauthorized access or suspicious activity

•        De-escalate volatile or emotionally charged situations using professional communication and sound judgment

•        Respond swiftly to threats, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement as needed

•        Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols including stairwells, lobbies, and parking areas

•        Escort personnel and sensitive documents within the facility and to external locations when required

•        Document and report all incidents per A&H Security protocols and client requirements

•        Maintain strict confidentiality regarding legal proceedings and client matters observed on site

•        Adhere to all post orders, site rules, and applicable New York State laws and regulations

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

•        Extended standing, walking, and patrolling — shifts of 8 to 12 hours

•        Rapid physical response in emergencies, including intervention and restraint when lawfully warranted

•        Outdoor patrols in all weather conditions

•        Sustained alertness and composure in high-pressure legal environments throughout all shift hours

IMMEDIATE HIRE ELIGIBILITY

The following candidates are eligible for immediate hire upon verification of credentials:

•        Retired or former NYPD officers

•        Retired or former New York State municipal, transit, or housing police officers

•        Former or retired NYC/NYS Department of Corrections officers

•        Former or retired NYS Court Officers or Peace Officers

•        Candidates with verifiable law enforcement-adjacent experience (probation, parole, military police, federal law enforcement, etc.)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•        Valid New York State Armed Guard License (Article 7-A) — MANDATORY

•        Current NYS Pistol Permit or equivalent authorization to carry on duty

•        Must pass background check and drug screening

•        Strong observation, situational awareness, and communication skills

•        Ability to remain calm and professional under high-pressure conditions

•        Availability for varying schedules including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
