GSG Protective Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Compliance Administrator to join our team. This is a critical support role for a growing security services company operating under California's complex labor and regulatory environment. If you are someone who takes pride in keeping records accurate, deadlines met, and processes running smoothly -- this role is for you.
Reporting to management and working closely across departments, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring our employees' compliance obligations are met, from certifications and permits to government reporting and internal authorizations. This is an entry-level to early-career opportunity with real responsibility and room to grow.
What You'll Do
As our Compliance Administrator, you will:
- Employee Certification & Permit Tracking: Monitor, track, and coordinate the renewal and updates of required employee certifications, licenses, and permits to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Government Reporting: Prepare and submit required federal, state, and local agency reports related to employee new hires and terminations, including applicable new hire reporting obligations.
- Internal Compliance Processes: Maintain and support internal processes related to compliance obligations, including employee authorizations, required training completions, and associated documentation.
- Meal & Break Compliance Oversight: Assist management in monitoring meal and rest break compliance in accordance with California labor law requirements; flag discrepancies and support corrective tracking.
- Corrective Action Support: Work closely with management on corrective action matters that have a compliance component; assist in documenting and tracking action items through resolution.
- Recordkeeping & Filing: Maintain accurate and organized compliance records, databases, and files; ensure documentation is current, accessible, and audit-ready.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare internal compliance reports and summaries for management as needed; communicate status updates on open compliance items.
