Clinic Security Officer 

Location: Chicago, IL (Skyway) 

Job Type: Part-Time 

Schedule: Saturday/Monday/Wednesday - 3:30 am -5:30 pm

Pay Rate: $16.60 per hour 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure clinic access points to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of the facility to identify and address potential security or safety concerns.
• Prevent unauthorized access and enforce clinic security policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, or safety concerns.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Provide courteous assistance and support to patients, visitors, and clinic personnel.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with clinic management and emergency responders when necessary.
• Ensure all assigned areas remain secure and properly monitored throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) required.
• Completion of a 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training Course required.
• Previous security experience required; experience in a medical clinic, healthcare facility, or hospital setting is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and effective during stressful or emergency situations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass all required background screening requirements.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
