Gateway Group One is looking to hire a Site manager that has
Proven experience in providing customer service within an event venue environment; expertise in managing a contract security force for an event venue location; reliability to work weekends;
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of experience in managing a security contract and supervising contract security staff with a proven track record of leadership is essential; Knowledge of security staff scheduling and payroll systems, such as Winteam or Valiant, is highly desirable; experience in enforcing company progressive discipline policies is required; experience in providing security and customer service in an entertainment venue is highly beneficial.
Must be able to respond to, investigate, and report on incidents is required.
The right candidate will have experience with the following:
- Must have familiarity with security officer scheduling and payroll systems
- Able to identify staffing needs to and submit to recruiters via Requisition Form, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates.
- Assure that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
- Assure that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate district or region HR support employees and Operations Manager).
- Assist with the communication and enforcement of company and union policies
- Provide the basis of a great place to work by treating staff with respect.
- Identify, meet, and exceed the needs of the customer.
- Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
- Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client specific training and annual refresher training for security personnel.
- Reconcile security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; review incident reports prior to submitting to manager and coordinate preliminary investigations.
- Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists.
- Capably utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to produce reports that require interpretation and action for effective business management.
- Enforce Gateway Group One policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos.
- Has a neat, professional appearance and comes to work in complete and clean assigned uniform.
- Has a friendly and professional demeanor and provides quality customer service.
- Must obtain strong (both verbal and written) communication skills, and capable of handling typical and crisis situations both efficiently and effectively.
