GATEHOUSE SECURITY OFFICER

Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM | Wednesday 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

We are currently hiring a professional and dependable Gatehouse Security Officer for a residential condominium HOA community in Fort Myers, FL. This is a full-time position ideal for an experienced security professional who is comfortable working in a residential environment focused on safety, professionalism, and customer service.

This role is primarily focused on gatehouse operations and access control, serving as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors while maintaining a secure and welcoming community environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling access points, verifying residents and visitors, maintaining accurate vehicle and visitor logs, responding professionally to incidents or concerns, completing detailed daily activity reports, and ensuring community rules and procedures are followed. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to remain professional and attentive throughout long shifts.

Candidates must have prior security experience, preferably in condominium HOA, gatehouse, residential, or customer service-focused security environments. A valid Florida Class D Security License is required. Strong communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and customer service abilities are essential for success in this role.

Applicants should be comfortable working independently, using basic computer systems, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a professional presence in a residential community setting. Dependability and consistent attendance are critical for this schedule.
