Position Overview

Allstate Security is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers to support GAP Outlet operations in Emeryville, CA. Officers assigned to this location will maintain a visible security presence, assist in protecting staff and customers, and support daily retail operations through proactive observation and professional customer interaction.

This position requires strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in a fast-paced retail environment. Officers must be comfortable interacting with the public while maintaining site safety and enforcing client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the property
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas for suspicious activity
• Deter theft, loitering, and disruptive behavior through presence and observation
• Observe and report incidents, safety concerns, and policy violations
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports accurately and professionally
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff and guests
• Follow all post orders, client expectations, and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and fellow officers

Required Qualifications

• Active BSIS Guard Card (Required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible schedules as needed
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Ability to pass a background check

Work Environment

This position involves working in a high-traffic retail environment requiring professionalism, awareness, and strong customer interaction. Officers must remain alert and maintain a consistent security presence throughout the shift.
