Position: Garage Security Officer
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMPay Rate: $15.00 per hour
We are seeking a professional, dependable Garage Security Officer to support operations at a high-profile commercial property. This position requires strong attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to maintain a visible and proactive presence within a structured parking environment.
This is a permanent, full-time assignment with a consistent schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the parking garage to ensure safety and security
- Control access points and verify authorized entry when necessary
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
- Provide a visible deterrent presence to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Assist tenants, visitors, and vendors with directions and general inquiries
- Maintain accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and activity documentation
- Coordinate with property management and supervisors as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of security experience (required)
- Experience in commercial properties, parking garages, or access control preferred
- Active Level II or Level III security license (per state law)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle conflicts calmly and effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Enforce property policies, especially regarding parking, access, and loitering
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability
