Pay rate: $30.50/hour

As a Security Supervisor, you’ll guide and support a dedicated security team, ensuring safety across sprawling outdoor grounds, classrooms. You are the “go-to” leader for students, staff, and community partners
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day supervision of the security team
- Utilizing two way radio communication and site specific software, will oversee the tracking and deployment of security professional across the site.
- Monitor numerous systems including fire and life safety, access control and parking.
- Assign reports to security personnel
- Follow direction and requests of Client Service Manager & Supervisors as required.
- Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing college rules and regulations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
- Dependable resource with knowledge about site services
- Keep records of all key sign sheets, security personnel equipment sign out, parking inquiries, lost and found, and other requirements are all properly documented.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ security experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience an asset
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Current First Aid/CPR, Use of Force, and crisis training certifications
- G-class driver’s license (clean abstract)
- Outstanding communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills
- Must not be a current student
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
