GSG Protective Services is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide on-site medical support at a major motion picture studio in Studio City, CA. This role is primarily responsible for delivering immediate medical care to cast, crew, staff, and visitors, while supporting overall site safety in a dynamic production environment. 

The ideal candidate is a confident, service-oriented medical professional with strong clinical judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-visibility settings. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide prompt, professional emergency medical care within EMT scope of practice and California regulations  
  • Respond to on-set and on-lot medical incidents, including injuries, illness, and urgent care situations  
  • Conduct patient assessments and administer appropriate treatment and first aid  
  • Coordinate with local EMS and facilitate transport when advanced care is required  
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient care and incident reports  
  • Ensure medical equipment, supplies, and response kits are fully stocked and operational 
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and hazard awareness across the studio lot  
  • Maintain a visible, professional presence while interacting with cast, crew, and high-profile individuals  
  • Communicate effectively with security teams, production staff, and management during incidents  
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times  

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Active California EMT certification in good standing  
  • Minimum of two(2) year years of field experience as an EMT  
  • Authorization to work in the United States  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and workplace injury response  
  • Working alongside security or public safety teams  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure  

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: 

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills  
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations  
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills  
  • High level of situational awareness and professionalism  
  • Ability to interact respectfully with individuals at all organizational levels  

 

Physical Requirements: 

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation: 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly across a large studio lot  
  • Ability to lift, carry, and assist individuals as needed (up to 50 lbs)  
  • Ability to operate in indoor and outdoor environments for extended periods  
  • Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in active production settings  

 

Work Environment: This position operates within an active movie studio environment, which may include sound stages, outdoor sets, production areas, and administrative spaces. The role may involve exposure to varying conditions, including noise, crowds, and emergency situations.
