Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Baltimore, MD 21215

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Shift Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Job Type: Full-time

Securemedy is seeking to hire an unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment. The officer will monitor for safety concerns, respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner, provide assistance and directions to the public, and work closely with law enforcement and court personnel. Ideal candidates must demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of security procedures to ensure orderly operations.  Key responsibilities include:   

• Inspect building interiors and exteriors for suspicious items and complete daily inspection reports.
• Patrol public areas and halls on all floors.
• Assist at the scanner and respond to calls for assistance.
• Provide breaks and relieve security staff for lunch.
• Assist judges on arrival and departure.

 Requirements: 

• Active MD Security Guard Certification
• Minimum of 21years
• Minimum 1 Year experience
• High School Diploma
• Active CPR/FA Certification
