Security Officer (Unarmed)

Location: Cumberland, MD

Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Shifts Available:

Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

We are currently seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to join our team at a regulated facility in Cumberland, Maryland. This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a structured, compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets
• Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems
• Control access points and verify credentials as required
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies
• Operate and navigate security-related technology and systems

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Maryland Guard Card
• Prior security experience preferred
• Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred
• CPR / First Aid certification preferred
• Must be tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Schedules & Pay:

• $19.00 per hour
• Monday–Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Monday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
