Monday & Tuesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Summary / Objective
We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong security presence, provide excellent customer service, and respond effectively to incidents.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance systems
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permit authorized entry
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations as needed
- Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities and enforcing policies and procedures
- Complete detailed reports by recording observations, incidents, and activities
- Interview witnesses and obtain necessary documentation/signatures
- Monitor building systems and maintain a safe environment
- Conduct extensive interior and exterior patrols of assigned areas

- Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience preferred (security, military, or law enforcement)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent integrity and professional demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must remain professional and courteous at all times
- Must possess or be able to obtain a state-issued Unarmed Security Certification
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to perform routine patrols (interior and exterior)
- Ability to lift and carry items as needed to perform job duties
