Job Overview:  

  

Prosegur Security is seeking a highly professional and customer service–focused Auditor for a premier client site in Santa Clara, CA. This position combines physical patrol duties with security operations center (SOC) responsibilities, including alarm monitoring, camera surveillance, and access control management.  

  

Essential Job Function

  • Ensure that gates, buildings and critical areas are secured.
  • Perform audit of security systems.
  • Review other officer posts for discrepancies.
  • Compile reports for KPI’s, track, and customers on a weekly basis or as assigned by your manager.
  • Maintain and order items needed for site inventory.
  • Create work orders with your security engineer or security manager for any maintenance needed for your site.
  • Support training for new and existing security officers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all access points on-site function as intended.
  • Consistently generate reports for Company and its customers on established cadences.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly compliance audits.
  • Audit customer space access reports, and submit to the management team.
  • Investigate weekly patrol tour reports and alert management on any egregious issues.
  • Manage and document security supply inventory at all officer workstations, and requisition any replacements.
  • Audit all created badges and ensure they were fully filled out. Escalate any reoccurring issues.
  • Audit all physical security hardware in a building, including cameras, door locking
  • mechanisms, card readers, and crash bars  

Qualifications:  

  • Must have a valid California Security Guard License. 
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills are absolutely required. 
  • Minimum 1 year of security experience. 
  • Dispatch/SOC experience preferred but not required. 
  • Comfortable with technology, including cameras, alarm panels. 
  • Genetec experience is a plus. 
  • Alarm and camera monitoring is a plus. 
  • Willingness to learn and operate multiple security systems confidently with provided training. 
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, including during varied weather conditions. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must have reliable transportation. 
  • Ability to stay calm and think clearly during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
