Now Hiring: Flex Security Officer (Non-Commissioned / Unarmed)International Guard Services (IGS)

International Guard Services is hiring Level II Non-Commissioned Flex Security Officers to support various client locations across the Houston area. Flex Officers cover open shifts, call-offs, special assignments, and temporary posts, making this a great opportunity for officers who are flexible, dependable, and professional.

This position requires officers who can adapt quickly to different environments while maintaining a strong security presence and excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Texas Driver’s License (Required)
• Active Level II Texas Security Guard Card
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Reliable transportation to assigned job locations
• Availability for flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain professional and calm in stressful situations

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

• Patrol assigned properties to maintain safety and establish a visible presence
• Monitor and control access for visitors, employees, and contractors
• Enforce company policies and site procedures
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, or alarms in a professional manner
• Secure doors, gates, and restricted areas during patrols
• Provide assistance and direction to visitors and staff
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and clients
