Securemedy is currently hiring Security Officers to support a private security program in the Henrico County, VA area. Military or Law Enforcement experience strongly suggested to apply.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• A strong command presence
• Excellent observational and reporting skills
• Professional communication abilities
• Integrity and reliability under pressure

Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Monitor and control facility access points
• Screen visitors using:
• • Handheld magnetometers
  • Walk-through metal detectors
  • X-ray screening equipment
• Observe and report safety or security concerns
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports
• Provide professional customer service to visitors and staff

Note: Prolonged sitting and standing may be required.

Minimum Requirements

• MUST be 18 years of age or older
• VA 50 hours of initial training from a DCJS approved school

• Fingerprinting
