Flex EMT Security Officer

Location: Cochise County, AZ

Pay: $22.75/hour

Schedule: Flex – Any Day, Any Shift (Open Availability Required)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and highly adaptable Flex EMT Security Officer to provide coverage in Cochise County. This role combines security responsibilities with emergency medical support, requiring professionalism, quick decision-making, and flexibility.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working an assignment and a variety of shifts while maintaining a strong safety presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide unarmed security services per assignment
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide EMT-level care as needed
• Conduct mobile and/or foot patrols
• Fill in for open shifts, call-offs, and on-demand coverage
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized or unsafe activity
• Write detailed incident and activity reports
• Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary
• Follow all company and client safety protocols

Requirements

• Current EMT Certification (required)
• Active Arizona Unarmed Guard Card License (required)
• Prior security experience required
• Experience in flex, mobile patrol, or multi-site coverage strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally

Availability Requirements

• Must be flexible with open availability
• Must be willing to work any day and any shift
• Includes days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be available for on-call and last-minute coverage
