Position Summary:
The Operations Manager oversees 24/7 security operations to ensure high-quality service, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction. This role provides leadership to security personnel, supports operational efficiency, and assists with growth initiatives including lead generation and administrative support for the Branch Manager, Regional Manager, SE Sales Team, and Executive Leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of security leadership or related experience
- 3+ years of verified security, law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
- Preferred: CPP, PSP, or other security management certifications
- Ability to obtain/maintain State Security License
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations
- Ensure consistent, timely delivery of security services
- Administer guard management software
- Enforce workplace safety procedures
- Work posts when needed and remain on-call for officer support
Performance & Leadership
- Identify and resolve performance issues
- Implement and communicate operational standards
- Support change management and continuous improvement
- Provide clear leadership, accountability, and guidance
Client & Team Communication
- Act as liaison between clients, Site Managers, Supervisors, and leadership
- Maintain strong communication across operations
- Prepare reports on performance, incidents, and client satisfaction
Growth Support
- Assist with lead generation activities as required
- Provide administrative support for growth efforts led by Branch Manager, Regional Manager, and SE Sales Team
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
Supervisory & Administrative Duties
- Verify and track employee licenses and certifications
- Report new hires and terminations to the State of TN
- Maintain personnel records
- Manage scheduling and ensure 24/7 staffing coverage
- Coordinate incident and emergency responses
- Oversee billing processes and invoice accuracy
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven leadership and supervisory capability
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and administrative systems
- Flexibility to support 24-hour operations
- Positive attitude with initiative and accountability
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for at least one hour
- Ability to walk ½ mile and climb 20 stairs without stopping
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security Management, or related field (preferred)
