Consisting of our Hotel Dieu site and Kingston General site, as well as the Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario and our research institute, we care for more than 650,000 patients and their families from across our region.

Position: Healthcare Lab Courier - Full Time

Site: Brockville General Hospital to Kingston General Hospital

Hours: Monday 07:00-19:00, Tuesday-Friday 07:00-15:00

Payrate: $18.43/hour

Overtime Method: Ontario Averaging Agreement (AA) After 88 hours

Job Responsibilities:

Perform drop-offs/pick-ups between Brockville General Hospital and Kingston General Hospital
Documentation on courier runs; details report writing/note taking
Use of 2-way radio communication and cellphone technology
Deliver time sensitive items between hospitals
Pick up and drop off scheduled runs
Respond to Stat deliveries
Provide above-average customer service to all contacts
Responsible for reporting required vehicle maintenance/care for actioning
Other duties as required

Job Requirements:

Valid driver's license - Class G (or equivalent)
Clean driver's abstract from last 3 years
Must be 25 years in age or older
Ability to lift up to 50LBS
Ability to walk extended periods of time
Proficient in English (both oral and written) communication
A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

Proof of COVID-19 double vaccination
