TriCorps Security is hiring SOC Operators to monitor and control access to client properties. Applicants must have a flexible schedule, pass drug and background tests, and have reliable transportation to and from job locations. The position allows for a maximum of 40 working hours per week, but not consecutively. Job responsibilities of the SOC Operator include being responsible for the effective and efficient processing of all information relevant to the security operations business,
securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. Employees are expected to prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures. Additional duties include controlling traffic by directing drivers, completing reports by recording observations, information, and occurrences, interviewing witnesses, and obtaining signatures. Ensuring the operation of equipment through preventive maintenance, calling for repairs, and evaluating new equipment and techniques is also required. Receive and process calls for security service from customers, employees, vendors, and contract agents of a high profile client, and following the instructions of managers and clients to provide the best service is essential.
Other requirements include maintaining a professional appearance, demeanor, and behavior; the ability to stand for an entire shift (8-12 hours); continual awareness of surroundings; articulateness in verbal and written communication; good judgment in stressful situations; utilize excellent attention to detail; perform communication for Life safety incidents, such as 911 emergency calls, power failures, medical emergencies, employee/customer inquiries, equipment and facility service requests, facility access,
being proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications
