Flex Security Officer

Location: Joliet, IL Schedule: All days and shifts available | Weekdays, Weekends, On-call Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour 

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and professional Flex Security Officers to provide safety and security services at an assigned site in the Joliet, IL area. This position is considered flex due to the need to cover various shifts based on operational needs, including weekdays, weekends, and on-call assignments. 

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unlawful activity
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols
• Monitor and manage access control systems
• Control entry and exit points and verify identification
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors

Requirements

• Active Illinois PERC Guard Card
• Current Illinois 20-hour security training certificate
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Security experience preferred, especially in flex or patrol roles with access control experience
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
