Unarmed Security Officer

Location: East Hanover, NJ

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Various days of the week

Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for a full-time position in East Hanover, NJ. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, demonstrate strong professionalism, and consistently follow safety and security protocols.

This position requires a security professional who can maintain a visible presence, monitor the site, and ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence
• Monitor premises to ensure safety and security procedures are followed
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or incidents
• Conduct routine patrols of the property
• Complete incident reports and daily activity logs
• Communicate effectively with site management, employees, and visitors
• Enforce site policies and security procedures

Requirements

• Active NJ SORA Guard Card License (Required)
• Previous security experience required
• Strong professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to follow strict safety and security protocols
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to remain alert throughout the entire shift
