Job Title: Unarmed EMT (Part-Time Weekend & Flex)  

Location: Cochise  

Schedule:  

• Saturday & Sunday (2PM–10PM)
• On-Call / As Needed

Shift:   

• Weekend Shift 2PM–10PM;
• Flex Shifts Vary (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Holidays)

Pay:  

• $21.75 Per Hour – Part-Time Weekend
• $22.75 Per Hour – Flex Officer

We are hiring Unarmed EMT Officers for both a consistent weekend assignment and flexible on-call coverage. The weekend role provides steady hours every Saturday and Sunday from 2PM–10PM. The Flex role requires open availability to cover call-offs, vacations, special assignments, and emergency staffing needs. Flex hours are not guaranteed but may lead to regular scheduling opportunities based on operational needs.  

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid, current AZDPS Unarmed Guard Card
• Valid EMT Certification
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Additional training in security, public safety, or law enforcement is a plus
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills
• Professional administrative ability
• Previous law enforcement or security experience preferred
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods

Responsibilities include:  

• Creating and tracking work orders
• Drafting professional emails and managing phone calls
• Operating fire control panels and responding to alarms
• Completing incident and shift reports
• Assisting associates and visitors
• Inspecting vehicles and facilities for safety concerns
• Conducting routine patrols
• Delivering professional customer service
