Concord Security Corporation - West Vancouver, BC

We are looking for reliable and motivated Security Officers for part-time and on-call / casual opportunities at a large shopping mall in West Vancouver.

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Shift Times: Afternoon and Overnight Shifts

Responsibilities

Provide great customer service
Monitor all systems to ensure safety and access policies
Attend and investigate security alarms in a timely and professional manner
Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns
De-escalate emergency situations
Write clear and detailed reports
Utilize two-way radios to communicate site activities

Requirements:

Valid BC Security License
Prior work experience in the security industry
Prior experience working in customer service is an asset
Strong English communication skills
Excellent customer service, active listening, and observational skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physical ability to complete the duties of the job, including but not limited to standing and walking for the majority of your shift
