Unarmed Security Officer 

 Location: Solon, OH 

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour 

Schedule: Full Time: Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11pm 

Part-Time: Friday-Saturday 11pm-7am

Position Summary:

We are looking for a professional, dependable Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a warehouse facility in Solon, OH. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring the protection of both personnel and property. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in security, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment, and will be comfortable working in a facility with specific security needs. 

As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling the premises, monitoring security systems, controlling access points, and responding to incidents as necessary. Attention to detail, the ability to remain alert, and a strong sense of responsibility are key to success in this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols of the facility to monitor for security issues, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor security systems (surveillance cameras, alarms, etc.) and report any suspicious activity or incidents.
• Control access points by verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies, ensuring a swift resolution.
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and any other relevant information.
• Work closely with other security personnel and facility management to address safety concerns and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain an Ohio Guard License (required).
• Must be able to pass a background check (required).
• Previous security experience preferred, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to work independently and stay alert during shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency or stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and complete regular patrols.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and responsible.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a warehouse facility, where the work environment may involve exposure to lower temperatures. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing conditions are important for success in this role.
