Armed Security Officer 

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 

Position Type: Full-Time | Part-Time  

Compensation: $26.00 per hour 

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This position requires a highly dependable individual with strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and a professional presence. Officers are expected to maintain a safe and secure environment while representing our organization with professionalism and integrity. 

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure presence at assigned location
• Deter criminal activity and enforce property policies
• Conduct routine patrols of premises
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports
• Coordinate with property management and local authorities when necessary

Requirements

• Current ACT 235 Certification (Pennsylvania Lethal Weapons Training Act)
• Valid Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms
• Personal firearm
• Duty belt and required armed gear
• Reliable transportation
• Prior armed security experience required
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and/or patrol for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential, commercial, or high-end property security
• Military or law enforcement background (preferred but not required)
