Job Overview

Prosegur Security is seeking highly professional and customer service–focused Unarmed Security Officers for a premier client site in Irvine, CA. This position is a hybrid role: half of your duties will be in the Security Operations Center (SOC) and the other half will involve patrol responsibilities. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and comfort with technology while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Lenel 9000 access control system confidently.
• Handle phone traffic and maintain clear, professional communication.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, staying calm under pressure.
• Perform foot patrols and monitor indoor areas to ensure safety and compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and security systems in the SOC.
• Document incidents, maintain logs, and follow escalation procedures.
• Demonstrate multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Use smartphones and computers for reporting and communication.
• Remain coachable and adaptable, embracing ongoing training and feedback.

• Qualifications
• 18+ years of age 
• Valid California Security Guard License.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and think clearly during emergencies.
• Comfortable with technology (smartphones, computers, cameras, alarm panels).
• Experience with Lenel 9000 and SOC operations preferred.
• Badging experience or related systems
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards.
• Dependable, ethical, and committed to excellence.
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 

Shift: Full Time Graveyard Hours: 11:00pm-7:00am  Days: Tuesday-Saturday
