Elite Investigations is seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers to join our growing team in the Jersey City, NJ area.  This is in a residential environment.  As a Security Officer, you will be held to above-quality standards as a server of our surrounding communities. Being a Security Officer, you must maintain exceptional customer service skills, while striding in your confident presence with our clients. You must also have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly, effectively, and efficiently. As a Security Officer with our company, you will be responsible for initiating and completing daily reports, in addition to reporting any emergencies. As a talented team member, you will command a high-standing presence when posted at our sites. Some of the other duties include but are not limited to:  We are looking for Security Officers to maintain safety and order at a residential building. The security officer would be responsible for: 

• Greet all visitors entering and leaving the building 
• Provide access control as needed
• Provide escort services as needed
• Monitor the different areas by utilizing CCTV
• Maintain Order by strategizing access control of the lines and making sure exterior spaces are kept clear
• Verbally de-escalating issues that may arise while on duty and reporting all abnormal occurrences in a timely manner. 
• Periodic patrols of site which includes residential establishment by floor, examining doors, windows and gates ensuring they are secure.
• Report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes and security doors that are unlocked
• Record all data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or malfunctioning of locks/machinery/ equipment.
• Conduct incident reports and daily log reports to document issues.

Qualifications: 

• Must have NJ SORA License.
• Must have High School Diploma/GED
• Must understand, speak, and be able to write the English language
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and conflict management 
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally 
• Attention to detail and strong observation skills 
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Schedule: 

Full-time shift available: 

• FRIDAY 3pm to 11pm, SATURDAY 11pm to 7am, SUNDAY 11pm to 7am, MONDAY 11pm to 7am, TUESDAY 11pm to 7am
