Unarmed Security Supervisor 

Location: Pittsburgh - Oakland & Shadyside areas  Pay Rate: $22.25 per hour 

Positions Available: 

• Part-Time
• Full-Time

Shift Availability Required

• 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Candidates must have the flexibility to work either shift. 

Position Overview

We are seeking highly capable and safety-focused Unarmed Security Supervisors to lead and oversee daily security operations at assigned locations in Oakland and Shadyside. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment for staff, visitors, and property. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor on-site security officers to ensure consistent, high-quality performance
• Enforce all security protocols, safety procedures, and site-specific post orders
• Conduct routine and random patrols to identify safety hazards, security risks, or policy violations
• Monitor overall site security operations and ensure proper coverage at all times
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns, taking appropriate action and coordinating response as needed
• Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, daily activity logs, and supervisory reports
• Serve as the primary point of contact for site management, clients, and security staff
• Provide guidance, corrective action, and coaching to security personnel when necessary
• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and safety awareness

Requirements

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience (security or related field)
• Flexible availability for required shifts
• Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Must be able to clear background check and drug screen
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to remain calm and lead effectively in emergency or high-pressure situations
• Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently while managing and motivating a team
