Starting pay for this position ranges. Will be discussed during the interview. We are looking for an exceptionally qualified security director candidate for this position.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 0800-1700.
A Security Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and execution of security operations to protect people, property, and assets. This role oversees all security personnel, develops and enforces policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and organizational standards. The Security Director works closely with executive leadership, company management, and internal stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop security teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Design and implement security strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Oversee daily security operations, incident response, and emergency management plans
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to mitigate threats
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Manage security budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership
- Create and manage schedules for the site
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in security management or leadership
- Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
