Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Erie, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 11pm-7am

Pay: $14.00

About the Role:
We are seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to maintain safety and security at an industrial facility during overnight hours. The role focuses on protecting personnel, property, and operations in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
• Provide a visible security presence and assist employees and visitors as needed
• Respond calmly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age (or per state requirement)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior security, industrial, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Must pass background checks and any required training
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work overnight hours and remain alert
