Schedule: Full-Time:  

Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm at $23 per hour.

We are looking for a Security Officer who combines strong attention to detail with technical aptitude. This position focuses on ID badge creation and access control management, while leveraging basic IT or cybersecurity knowledge to support secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and manage employee, contractor, and visitor ID badges.
• Maintain and update badge/access control systems and databases.
• Troubleshoot badge access issues and escalate technical problems as needed.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure proper integration of physical and digital security measures.
• Enforce security protocols and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
• All other job duties as related or assigned by USI Management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• Experience with badge/access control systems (e.g., Lenel, HID, or similar).
• Basic IT knowledge (networking, system administration, or cybersecurity principles).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with security software and hardware.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or similar are a plus.
