Front Desk Coverage Officer – Residential Property
Location: New Hyde Park


We are hiring a Front Desk Coverage Officer for a secured residential building in New Hyde Park, NY. This position supports on-site operations at a single property and is centered around lobby oversight, access coordination, and real-time observation of building activity.


Officers in this role maintain a visible presence at the entry point, oversee camera systems, and ensure entry procedures are followed correctly. The position involves regular interaction with residents and building personnel, so professionalism, attentiveness, and clear communication are essential.


Role Structure & Scheduling

This is an existing assignment at an active, 24/7 site. Schedules are assigned after orientation, based on operational needs and current coverage gaps. The account manager assigns shifts that are already open in order to ensure consistency and proper staffing. Candidates should be comfortable with:

  • Working any schedule open, including weekends
  • Remaining flexible as coverage needs change
  • Accepting additional hours when available
  • Holding the post if a relief officer is delayed or calls out, as required at a 24/7 location

While the site typically runs smoothly, reliability during unexpected absences is critical. Supervisory support is available, and extended coverage is not a frequent occurrence—but officers must be willing to step up when needed.
