Residential Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious residential property in Chicago. The ideal candidate will possess strong security experience, along with exceptional customer service and concierge skills, to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the property to maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents and guests.
• Respond to security breaches and emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist residents with inquiries, deliveries, and other requests.
• Enforce property rules and regulations in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with other staff and security personnel to ensure the smooth operation of security protocols.
• Ensure that all safety equipment is maintained and operational.
• Assist with access control and ensure only authorized individuals enter the property.

Required Qualifications:

• Active PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) and 20-hour security training certification.
• Proven experience in security, with a focus on residential security preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in concierge or customer service roles is a plus.
• Ability to interact with residents, guests, and staff in a courteous and respectful manner.
• A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Schedule:

• Wednesday - Friday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Compensation:

• $17 per hour.
