Armed Security Officer

Location: Johnstown, PA
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Employment Type: Part-Time (28–36 hours weekly)

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Officer to provide security services at facility in Johnstown, PA. The officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through access control, patrols, and rapid response to incidents. Site-specific details will be provided upon hire.

Schedule Requirements:
This position covers a consistent mid-week schedule with required weekend coverage, all within a single role:

• Mid-Shifts:
• • Mondays & Tuesdays: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Weekend Coverage:
• • Saturdays: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Sundays: Overnight / extended shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Additional Duties:
• • Fill-in coverage for call-offs and schedule gaps as needed

Hours:

• Approximately 28–36 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide armed security services in accordance with company and state regulations
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
• Control access to the facility and monitor entrances
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and documentation
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Certification (required)
• Prior armed security experience
• Ability to work mid-shifts, weekends, and overnight hours
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
• Must meet all state and company firearm and background requirements
